  DeMent's photo-based images continue her exploration of human nature and environment with multi-paneled compositions that fuse technique and concept.  Her large scale rice paper prints utilizing hybrid encaustic techniques and mixed media speak to the larger than life challenges found in our contemporary environmental situation for a strikingly bold body of work with a poignant message.  Artist's talk at Rock|DeMent on July 17 at 3pm open to the public and free of charge.
