Rock|DeMent visual art space was founded by professional artists Stephen Rock and Nichole DeMent in February, 2006 as a space to exhibit, collaborate and create art. The artists continue this commitment at Rock|DeMent and, as of February 2010, further expand their mission to exhibit accomplished work by adding additional voices to the space. Therese Buchmiller, Chris Crites, Jeff Mihalyo, Jen T. Mills, Cheri O'Brien and David Robinson were invited to further the ideas, excitement and dialogue with solo exhibitions and collaborations on contemporary themes, with plans for national and international artist/gallery exchanges.

Rock|DeMent visual art space is a source for contemporary art in Seattle. The art space and gallery has a bird's nest view from Seattle's most vibrant art community in Pioneer Square. We are located in the Tashiro Kaplan All-Arts Building at 306 S. Washington St., #104, just above G. Gibson Gallery at 3rd & Washington. Rock|DeMent is committed to the art experience, both for the artist and the viewer, promoting an ambience that nurtures an avid discourse on contemporary art.
