Images from The Essence of Being are an exploration of human nature through a color photographic process. DeMent layers images of people photographed in the studio with images taken in my environment in the darkroom to enhances the idea that we are constantly shaped by our environment and uniquely meshed within it.
Fine art prints from this series are 45"x30" mounted c-prints made by the artist in the color darkroom.
Each is a unique print due to the anomolies of the process in a limited edition of 10.

Hand crafted from reclaimed pallet oak, this beautiful table by Doug and Jeff Rock demonstrates a boatbuilders lines while turning art into function. Inset game board provides an option for chessplayers or other games. Having just finished their 2nd wooden boat, theyt are now incorporating the shapes and techniques into their new work. The table stand approx. 6" l x 34"w x 32" h and has casters that attach for transporting.
