This month Stephen is showing new acrylic & dried pigment paintings on canvas. These large works, from 22" x 36" to 60" x 80", are explorations into how energy transfers from spontanious marks to intentional expressionist statements of harmony and chaos. Building upon previous works the artist continues to experiment with how artistic marks transfer energy and how scale, tools and materials play their part in delivering creative energy to a surface. Also showing: Rock Brothers new table "Dock Mate"

Also showing at the 8th Annual Recycle Art Show at Blowing Sands Gallery in Ballard is The 2nd Horseman. A 6' x 6' x 8' installation of reclaimed mill scraps, metal, tire and rope.
